Bringing a new plant home can be a lot. New light. New air. New energy.

This tonic is their welcome party.

Plant Babe Homecoming Tonic is a gentle, water-soluble dry blend designed to support stressed, newly adopted, or recently repotted plants as they settle into their new space. Made with kelp powder, humic acid, aloe powder, and rice flour, it helps roots absorb nutrients more efficiently, hold onto moisture, and recover from the shock of… existing.

Think of your plant’s soil like society. Your plant is just living in it.

This tonic helps make that environment a little more supportive.

Why it works

• Kelp powder provides micronutrients and natural growth hormones to encourage healthy roots and leaves

• Humic acid improves nutrient uptake and helps soil retain water (no hydrophobic energy here)

• Aloe powder supports recovery from stress and transplant shock

• Rice flour acts as a gentle carrier, helping nutrients distribute evenly through the soil

How to use

Dissolve 1 teaspoon in 1 gallon of water.

Water once when you bring your new plant home.

Optional: repeat in 7–10 days.

For succulents, use ½ teaspoon.

Discard unused solution.

🌿 Plant Babe Homecoming Tonic ~ FAQ

Is this a fertilizer?

Not exactly.

Plant Babe Homecoming Tonic is a gentle support blend, not a replacement for regular fertilizer. It’s designed to help plants adjust, recover, and absorb nutrients more effectively, especially after being moved, repotted, or stressed.

What plants is this best for?

Most common houseplants love this tonic, including:

• Tropical plants

• Aroids (like philodendrons, pothos, monsteras)

• Ferns

• Hoyas

• Calatheas & prayer plants

• Recently repotted or newly purchased plants

Are there plants that should NOT use this?

Yes - a few plant types prefer something different.

Avoid using this tonic on (WE REPEAT: DO NOT USE IN THESE CASES):

• Carnivorous plants (venus flytraps, pitcher plants, sundews, etc.)

• Plants grown in pure mineral media with no organic content

• Very sensitive seedlings (wait until they’re established before you over nurture - this especially includes the very sensitive tissue cultures)

For succulents and cacti, it can be used — just reduce the dose to ½ teaspoon per gallon.

How often should I use it?

This tonic is meant for occasional use, not every watering.

• Use once when bringing a new plant home

• Optional second use after 7–10 days

• After that, return to your normal care routine

Can I use this with other fertilizers or plant products?

Yes, but don’t stack them at the same time.

We recommend:

• Using the tonic on its own

• Waiting at least 1–2 weeks before applying another fertilizer or additive

Is it safe for pets?

This product is intended for plants only.

While the ingredients are plant-based, keep the dry mix and mixed solution out of reach of pets and children.

CONTACT POISON CONTROL IMMEDIATELY IF INGESTED.

How long does one jar last?

Each 4 oz jar provides approximately 25 gallons of plant water, or about 50 uses for succulents at half strength.

Does it smell?

The dry mix has a mild, earthy scent from the kelp and humic acid.

Once diluted in water, the smell is very subtle and fades quickly.
